Washington Heights Baptist Church is exploring a new ministry offering free family transportation, a warm breakfast, Sunday School and worship, with transportation back home around lunch time.

We Pick You Up
Free round-trip transportation would be available for participating families within the ministry’s service area.
Breakfast Included
Families could receive a warm, convenient breakfast during the ride or shortly after arriving at church.
Families Together
This ministry is being designed to help parents, guardians, grandparents and children attend and participate together.
Home Around Lunch
After Sunday School and Morning Worship, participating families would be transported safely back home around lunch time.

We Want Families to Come Together
Our purpose is not simply to place children on a bus. We want to remove practical obstacles that may keep entire families from attending church. Parents and other responsible household adults are encouraged to ride, eat and participate alongside their children.
The ride, breakfast and church services would all be offered freely as a service to families in our community.
What Sunday Morning Could Look Like
Exact pickup times and routes would be determined after reviewing survey responses and the areas where participating families live.
Families would be returned home around lunch time following Morning Worship.
Community Breakfast Day
Every family completing the survey will receive an invitation and reminder for our Community Breakfast Day at Washington Heights Baptist Church.
Come enjoy breakfast, meet some friendly people and learn more about the ministry before its proposed launch on Homecoming Sunday.
